The Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA) conducted a review of its Green Star rating tool in 2010. As part of a fresh approach, the inclusion of Iplex PVC pressure and non-pressure pipe, conduit, and fittings can contribute to buildings earning up to two positive credit points. To be eligible for these points, the pipes and fittings must demonstrate compliance with the GBCA's "Best Practice Guidelines for PVC in the Built Environment."
